Our New Nephew

This is our new nephew MoJo!! I know that might sound funny, but that might be as close to a new nephew as we might get!!! He is sooooooooooo cute!! And a butterball!!
Janet and Nick got him about 3 weeks ago, he is 8 weeks old, and all puppy!! But the kids loved him, and he loved them!!!

Pumkin Patch Field Trip!

Friday we went on a field trip to the pumpkin patch and it was a blast!! Chance was not in my group, but I was still able to get alot of pictures of him since he was in the ground right in front of us!! We did alot of different things, made slime, made worms, the life style of a pumpkin, pumpkin math, and of course the Corn maze!! IT was a wonderful day.

This is Science!

Chance came home the other night and wanted to do a science experiment! But here is how he told me!!"Mom you need to put milk on a plate and then you need to get food coloring and put in the milk, and then take this Q-tip and stir it around" Well my first thought was, there is no way you are going to put milk on a plate and then put food coloring in the milk and stir it around!! So I let him explain a little bit more and decided we would try to do it! And to my wondering eyes, it was really cool! So here is what we did, We did put milk on the paper plate, and then put one drop of food coloring in the milk, and then took the Q-Tip and put dish soap on it and touched different parts of the plate where the milk was!! That is the part Chance was leaving out, and the reaction of the soap and milk made the food coloring kind of explode with color! ScareCrow making Day with Mrs.Cupps Class

At the Cox Pumpkin Patch, they have a scarecrow contest! Well Mrs.Cupp wanted her students to make a scarecrow to put in the contest! After talking with her I decided I would try to do a Football Player! So this morning Kaylie and I went in and we got to make our Football Player! The kids had a blast stuffing him, and putting corn stocks in very open hole they could find! I hope you like our Final Product!! So after we made our Scarecrows, Chance was really wanting me to eat lunch with him, and since Kay and I were already in town we stayed an extra hour and eat lunch and then went to the playground and played for about 45 minutes!! Thanks Mrs.Cupp for inviting me into your class room for a fun morning!
