So the wind blows

These pictures are from last week when the wind was blowing so hard, just across the road they are building a 20,000 head feed lot. They are just doing dirt work now, but the wind is not helping with the dirt problem. I dusted on Wednesday and by that after noon you could not even tell I did anything!

Lets Go Fly a Kite

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for the kites, we love them!!!
We put the kites together yesterday and took off for the middle of the field to fly them, and low and behold, the wind quit blowing! But by yesterday afternoon, the kids were able to get them into the air for a little bit before the wind got too bad!!

Chances Birthday Party

On Friday we had Chances Birthday party in town. He wanted to have a little get together with a few of his friends and eat at "On Broadway"(of all places) and then go to the movies!! The kids had a great time running around and be wild, and then we went to see the Pink Panther 2. I have to say, I had some of the best kids in the movie theater that night! Everyone loved the movie and had a great time!

Our Little Guy is 7

Happy 7th Birthday to Chance!! He had a great day yesterday! Clay and I went to eat lunch with him at school, and surprised him with balloons, he had cupcakes with his class yesterday afternoon, and Mrs.Cupp put together a birthday bag full of fireworks! When he got home he got to open his presents, he got a PSP, Madden09, ATV Racing, and Lego Batman! He was pretty surprised with the PSP! I can't hardly believe he is 7! Happy Birthday Big Guy We love you!

Weekend At Mom and Dads

We were able to make it to mom and dads this past weekend! Saturday was my dads birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD! And the kids got to go Ice Fishing, didn't catch anything, and the wind was blowing really bad, so it was pretty cold! Friday night when we got there we went in to Gunnison for a basketball game. The high school girl team made it to regional play offs, first time since 1994, they won their game Friday night and got to play again Saturday! Well since we were in town to go fishing, we decided that we would just go to the game Saturday too! That game was a little more intense! But they won 41-40 and are off to State Tournament this weekend! It was a fun weekend, and I'm glad we were able to finally go home!
