Swimming Pool Fun!

We spend alot of time at the pool, but this was the first time I took my camera! The kids have turned into fish! We missed swimming lessons this year, but from the looks of it, they are swimming just fine!! Only 2 more weeks of swimming left and then it is time for fair and SCHOOL!! Wow how fast the summer goes by!!

Wray Daze

On Friday we took the kids to meet auntie and they went to Wray and had fun at the game night, while Clay and I went to Holyoke for the races which got rained out!! Then on Saturday I went to Wray for the parade and Clay came down later and we to the pool with us!!! It was a great weekend! Thanks Auntie and Uncle Nick for keeping the kids Friday night and a great time Saturday!!

News From The Farm

It has been a while since I posted last, but let me catch everyone up on the happenings around here!!! Last Monday I took the kids to Denver and meet my mom and dad, and the kids went to spend a week with them! At first I thought I was going to be bored with out them here!! But I was far from being bored. I have been helping a friend get her house up to date, and last week I was able to get all of the painting done, as well as put new flooring in the living room and bedrooms, it was nice not having any distractions, but I found my self looking out the window if a vehicle went by, just to see where my kids might be, but then soon remembered that they were not there and I didn't have to worry about that!! Any way they had a great time with Granma and Papa, fishing, cutting wood, going on 4-wheeler rides, they got to go to the carnival in town on Thursday night. And it was Cattleman's Days last week(county fair) so the kids got to have some hands on time with the goats, sheep, pigs, cows and horses! I will post pictures of their busy week after I get them from mom! On Sunday Auntie and I went back to Denver to get them, and then we went to a water park and had a lot of fun there! What a great way to top off a wonderful week! Thanks mom and dad for taking the kids for the week!
This week will consist of finishing up the Floor I have been working on and resting up! The rest of July is cram packed! And then August is cram packed with county fairs, and getting ready for school!!WOW where has the summer gone!
So look forward to pictures from the kids vacation away from mom and dad, and I'm sure pictures of wheat harvest!!

More Fun

The Imperial Fire Department put on a Family Fun Day at the Fairgrounds!! It was a fun time. The kids a blast going down the giant slip-n-slid, and playing in the pool. We enjoyed hotdogs and watermellon too!!
