Something To Think About

Clay was talking with Chance last Sunday, and of coarse Chance was being Mr. Smarty Pants, not paying attention to his dad, and this was how the conversation went "Chance would you listen to me, Chance says, yeah yeah dad I know Always wear sun screen at the beach" Where does this kid come up with these things.
He has survived the first full week of school, I could tell on Wednesday when he got home he was beginning to get pretty tired, but he is doing great! He comes home telling all about what they did that day, as well as telling me who all got in trouble on the bus, and who has to sit up front now!LOL He is doing great getting up in the morning, but first things first, he has to have a shower, because "Mom this house is so cold in the morning". Gotta love the kid!! Have a great Labor Day Weekend, and look forward to pictures for our weekend! Toodles

The other day Kaylie came screaming out of the bedroom running to her dad, she got up on his lap and told him "Just between you and me, Chance ate all of my candy" Oh my that is dramatic!! But she was serious, and a little mad! She has some major Drama Queen moments!!

First Bus Ride!

Chance rode the bus to and from school on Friday!! In the morning the bus driver thought Chance wasn't going to ride until Monday, so he didn't stop, and after a few calls to the bus barn, I was able to meet him between home and Champion, and got Chance headed to school!! He was all grins when he got off the bus Friday afternoon, he said he had some friends on the bus, and we needed to take the bike to their house to meet them..Well that would have been a long bike ride, about 3 miles!! This morning the bus picked him up at 7:15, and he will probably be home some where around 4:25! Pretty long day for a little one, but he has been great about!! Friday he finally told me all about school, and it sounds like he is really excited! His favorite time is gym and story! I think it might be recess too!! Because then he can play with all of his friends that aren't in his class!
Kaylie made sure I knew that the bus was coming!! She was really missing her brother by Friday afternoon!

First Day of School!

The first day of school is here!!Wow I can't believe Chance is in kindergarten all ready! He was excited to go and loves his teacher Mrs. Cupp!! We are all excited for a fun school year! As most of you are wondering, yes I did CRY!!! It is harder than I thought it was going to be!! Last week I was ready for school to start, because I was tired of listening to the fighting and arguing, and now its here and I don't think I was ready!! Kaylie just asked me if it was time to go and get brother yet, and I told her no and told her we would go and get him at 3:30, and I asked her if she missed her brother, and she said "YES"!! It will be better for her when she starts preschool on the 4th of September!!Then I don't think she will be as bored!! Well I am off to go jump on the trampoline with Kay!! Toodles!
